Hello February! We are so excited for our student's of the month, and our staff of the month Miss Nicolle! The center will be closed on February 20th for Presidents Day.

We seek energetic and compassionate Assistant Teachers and Floater teachers to work with ages 1-5 years old. Each classroom is staffed with a lead teacher and assistant teacher who work together along with the rest of our faculty to create a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for our families. Our teachers are responsible for stimulating their classroom with educational and creative lesson planning. Assist lead teachers in constructing their lesson plan, utilizing additional resources to include various enrichment programs, communicating professionally with families and co-workers, and working as a team. As an assistant teacher and members of our support staff, uphold Luv-N-Care Daycare ministries' quality assurance health & safety standards.

Qualifications:
-US work authorization (Required)
-Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
-Child care: 1 year (Preferred)
-Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred but not required)

Requirements & Responsibilities:
-Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
-Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through quality teacher-created lesson planning utilizing gathered assessment data.
-Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
-Establish positive and effective family relations through professional communication.
-Ensure an effective program that is responsive to children’s needs.
-Proficient with interpersonal communication between children, peers, and parents.
-Must maintain a professional commitment to the Luv-N-Care philosophy.
-Love teaching, working with children, and desire to learn and grow within the early childhood education field.

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain within 90 days of start date:
-A Portable Background Check (through Washington Merit)
-Negative TB Test
-CPR/First Aid
-Blood Borne Pathogens Training
-WA State Food Handlers permit
-Proof of MMR immunization

Are you looking for childcare for your child/children. We currently have openings for Toddlers ages1-3, Pre-school ages 3-4, also our Pre-Kindergarten class ages 4-5. Happy December Birthdays! We hope everyones holiday's are merry and safe.
The center will be closed December 26th, and January 2nd.
Auburn school district spring break is December 21st- January 4th.
All weather updates/ snow closures will be communicated through the procare app, Luv-N-Care follows the school districts snow closures.

We are very excited to have our holiday party this year! It will be held at the center starting at 4:00 pm.
