How can individual items become part of a greater whole? What are the properties of different objects?

Children can build crucial problem-solving skills by learning how to connect and insert objects. By connecting objects together, children learn cause and effect and build spatial awareness skills.

Items presented to our students (shown in photos) include twig balls, wooden rings, metal shower hooks, rubber canning rings, and twistable ribbons.

Explorers embraced the warm weather through an open-ended, sensory water play experience. With a variety of loose parts and familiar materials—including measuring cups, bowls, marble run pieces, soap, toothbrushes, and sponges—students were invited to explore, experiment, and discover the many possibilities water play offered. As they poured, transferred, scrubbed, constructed, and collaborated with one another, students strengthened fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while naturally engaging in problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and creative thinking. The experience encouraged students to follow their curiosity, make connections, and learn through hands-on discovery.

Together, we'll gather for a devotion and prayer, asking God's guidance, protection, wisdom, and blessings for the coming school year.
Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for a fellowship meal. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with one another, encourage our students and educators, and share a meal as we begin the school year together. We encourage kids to wear school t-shirts, jerseys, anything that shows your school spirit.
We hope you and your family will join us for this special time of worship, fellowship, and blessing!

Just $5 per athlete! Fortify staff will be onsite to monitor play.

TLC Early Learning is a “Reggio-inspired early learning center”.

But what does that mean? Why should I consider a Reggio-inspired school for my child?

The Reggio Emilia approach is a way of teaching young children that focuses on curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning. Instead of following a strict, pre-set curriculum, teachers build learning experiences based on children’s interests.

Children learn by exploring, asking questions, creating, and working together. Teachers guide and support their thinking rather than just giving answers. We also place a strong focus on social skills, problem-solving, and expressing ideas in many different ways—like art, building, storytelling, and play.

You’ll often see long-term projects in the classroom, where children investigate topics deeply over time. The classroom environment is also carefully designed to encourage independence and creativity.
