Stoked! The 2022/2023 Dads of Great Students (D.O.G.S.) program kick-off was a success, with over 30 dads, grandpas, and father figures showing up to learn about the program and sign up to be an extra pair of eyes and ears around the school. Father figures who have passed a background check will be helping with drop-offs, pick-ups, and recesses, and we welcome the opportunity to assist in the classroom when teachers need help.
A huge thank you to the Lakeland Hills Elementary PTA and Mrs. Barlow, who was there to welcome the fathers and help this program get off on the right foot. Another round of thanks goes to Stack 457, The Rock, Puerto Vallarta, and Hops'N Drops for providing door prizes in gift certificates.
