This is the medal given to Grammy nominees and it belongs to one of my former students, Alan Ferber. Actually, now he has three of them! He and his twin brother, Mark, studied piano with me for twelve years. Before heading to UCLA, each had taken up other instruments--Alan studied trombone and Mark became a drummer; each of them has become world renowned as jazz performers on those instruments.

I've been teaching online for over three years and love it!
