Olivia Fontaine of Sarasota, Florida, will serve as the CADC student marshal at Auburn University's summer 2026 commencement ceremony on Saturday, August 8.

Fontaine will receive a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the Auburn University McWhorter School of Building Science. During her time at Auburn, Fontaine served as a CADC Ambassador, was the Marketing Co-Chair of Auburn’s Associated General Contractors of America Student Chapter and was involved in Sigma Lambda Chi, the Associated Schools of Construction Region 8 Student Competition and both Intramural Flag Football and Softball.

Over the past 15 years, nearly 1,800 CADC students have studied abroad, touring historic landmarks and world-class manufacturing facilities. CADC has ranked among the university's leaders in study abroad participation for several years running, and more than half of our graduates study abroad at some point during their time at Auburn—making international education one of the college's signature experiences.

Whether it’s touring a preservation project in London, an automotive production facility in Tokyo or a garden in Geneva, these students are bringing a global perspective back to the Plains.

Over the last eight weeks, CADC has opened its doors to over 200 high school students for its annual summer camp offerings in partnership with Auburn Youth Programs.

With 10 sessions, Auburn University CADC Summer Camps have something for every future designer, builder and prospective student in the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning + Landscape Architecture, the Auburn University McWhorter School of Building Science and the Auburn University School of Industrial and Graphic Design.
