Mark Amerson
Rehabilitation and Disability Studies
Auburn University
Mark Amerson, MS, OTR/L, is a licensed Occupational Therapist who earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham after completing his bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies at Auburn University.
Mark has experience working with clients across a variety of settings, including acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient pediatrics. He is passionate about helping individuals build the skills and confidence needed to participate in the activities that matter most to them. His approach emphasizes meaningful, individualized therapy that is both evidence-based and engaging.
Originally from Alabama, Mark enjoys building strong relationships with the children and families he serves while creating a supportive, encouraging environment where each client can thrive. He believes therapy should be functional, collaborative, and centered around each person’s unique goals and strengths
Outside of work, Mark enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, camping, and spending time with his wife and their dog and cat.
