The Women’s Philanthropy Board’s recent Passport to Philanthropy trip took us to Columbus, Georgia.

In recognition of America 250, we began the day at the National Infantry Museum. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our nation's history and honor the legacy of the soldiers who have served our country.

Following a delightful lunch at the historic Wynn House, we visited the Columbus Museum and enjoyed an impressive collection of artwork created by talented artists from our region.

A quick stop at Fountain City Coffee was the perfect way to end the day. This coffee shop, along with its collection of pencil portraits, served as the inspiration for Allen Levi’s bestselling novel Theo of Golden.

We look forward to seeing you on our next Passport to Philanthropy educational excursion.
