Auburn Chi Omega Please refer to our new page Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal organization in the world with over 330,000 initiates!

One in four sorority women is a Chi Omega. Founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas, Chi Omega has grown to 178 collegiate chapters, including our very own Alpha Beta chapter

When Chi Omega was first organized at Auburn (Alabama Polytechnic Institute) in 1921, only 36 women attended A.P.I. They lived in Smith Hall and in boarding houses throughout town. Four women created a local club cal

led Sigma Beta Delta and set out to join a national fraternity. With their eyes set on Chi Omega, the four enlisted the help of Christelle Ferguson to become an affiliated chapter. On September 9, 1923 Alpha Beta of Chi Omega received its charter with seven original members. We were the second sorority on Auburn’s campus. The girls I met were genuine, intentional, and full of heart, and I felt truly known and deeply loved from the moment I was welcomed at the door on Philanthropy Day.
These are the girls who show up daily, celebrate your wins, and love you in your lows — the ones who call me higher, encourage me, champion me in new ways, and constantly inspire me. This sisterhood has been such a sweet reminder of the Lord’s promises and His overwhelming love. Chi Omega is far more than just letters, but a well that continues to provide!!!”

Excited to share this weeks from Callie, Peyton, and Chapel! Sisters x3!!! ❣️❣️

I chose Chi O not just because my sisters were there (even though it makes it all the sweeter) but because I wanted what they found in Chi O- that is people that bring out the best in you and call you higher! Getting to walk through this season of life with them by my side has been one of my biggest college blessings! Chap & P, I love yall!!! My best friends and sisters X2!!!

Chi O has been such a gift in my life!!! It’s given me the opportunity to be poured into through Chapel and the joy of pouring into Callie as we walk through college together. Running home to Chapel has been one of my favorite moments, and getting to hold the owl for Callie is a memory I’ll always love! The friendships and community I’ve found through Chi O have been such a blessing, and I’m endlessly grateful for the love, growth, and joy this sisterhood has brought into my life! bryars PC ‘24

Truly pinching myself that I get to share a home with both of my sisters! There’s nothing like watching your best friends grow up right next to you and seeing the way they impact people around you. They have always been my home, but getting to share our home in Chi O has been one of my biggest blessings of college and only grown our friendship with each other more.
