Why I want to be a pharmacist: I want to be a pharmacist for a lot of reasons, but the main few are that it puts me in a great position to advocate for patient safety, it allows me to work in the healthcare field, and it focuses a lot on science and (basic) math - both of which I love applying to my work.

What made you want to be a pharmacist?
I wanted to be a pharmacist because pharmacy is the perfect combination of science and working with and caring for other people, two of my favorite things.

Clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care, pediatrics, or solid organ transplants.

What made you want to be a pharmacist?
I wanted to do something that would allow me to work with science or medicine and also give me the ability to positively impact people’s lives.

What is your dream pharmacy job?
I want to work in a hospital or clinic.

Member Spotlight: Jessica Hardage

Hometown: Little Rock, Arkansas

What made me want to be a pharmacist: During my second semester of nursing school, I had to take a pharmacology class and I loved it so much that I started looking into pharmacy school. I got a job as a pharmacy tech and decided that pharmacy was the path I wanted to pursue!

Dream pharmacy job: working at an independent pharmacy or in a clinic
