Our staff had an absolute blast at our 1st Annual Auburn Staff BBQ! 🌭🍔 It was the perfect chance to relax, catch up, share some laughs, and celebrate all the hard work that goes into getting ready for another amazing school year.

Special shoutout to Dr. Brooks for taking charge of the grill! You’re officially part of the Auburn BBQ Hall of Fame!

Our Auburn staff have been working so hard to prepare for the first day of school, and we are getting excited!

☀️🥪 Avondale is proud to participate in the Meet Up & Eat Up Summer Food Service Program, providing free meals to all children and teens ages 18 and under this summer!

📍 Auburn Elementary School
📅 June 22 – August 6, 2026 (Monday–Thursday)

Breakfast: 8:30–9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Please note: Meals will not be served July 1–5 due to holiday closures.

No registration is required. Just stop by and enjoy a healthy meal!

Come Out and Support Our Amazing Avondale Cheetahs!

Avondale School District staff, families, and friends, we need YOU! 👏 Join us as we celebrate our incredible student-athletes at the Special Olympics Regional Track Meet 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our hardworking Avondale Cheetahs from across the district have been training, practicing, and preparing for this exciting day, and they are ready to shine! ✨💪 This event is all about recognizing the determination, talent, and heart of our students with disabilities as they compete with pride. ❤️

📍 Where: Northville High School
📅 When: Saturday, May 2nd
⏰ Time:*Events begin at 8:45 AM and run through mid-afternoon (most events will take place in the morning!)

Each athlete will compete in 3 awesome events:
🏃 Running/Racing
🏅 Jumping
🎯 Throwing

We would LOVE to pack the stands with cheers, smiles, posters, and encouragement! 📣🎨🙌 Whether you stop by to cheer from the sidelines, send good luck wishes to our athletes and volunteer coaches, or make signs to show your support, every bit of encouragement means so much.

Let’s come together as one district to celebrate inclusion, perseverance, and school pride while making this a day to remember for our athletes! 🎉🐆
