New (school) year, new sessions!! Last night was AP stats and HS Math 2

I made the decision this year to take on fewer weekly students which will allow me to prioritize my new family and QUALITY sessions over QUANTITY of sessions. However, I would still be available to families/students that need periodic sessions ahead of important tests, so always reach out and maybe we can make something happen!!

It's been a while, but this week calls for a VERY special ...

This week AshClark Tutoring is graduating FOUR remarkable young adults are who all off to do amazing things!!

- Brooklyn G will be attending Grand Valley State University to study Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Brooklyn V will be attending Arizona State University to study Psychology and American Sign Language
- Sophia will be attending Hope College to study PreMed and play tennis
- Owen will be attending University of Michigan to study Business with a concentration in Finance

I am SO proud to have had even a small part in these students' journeys, and I cannot wait to see where their journeys take them.

Sessions have looked a little different over the last few months! Blessed with the best clients who have been SO flexible with me as I transition to mom in addition to tutor. Peep two instances of my tiny coworker sleeping on the job! Clearly she doesn’t find math homework as fascinating as I do… yet 😉🥰♾️

And with that, the first official season of AshClark Tutoring comes to an end...

Cannot even begin to put into words how impactful this year was, and how much growth I found both as a tutor and mentor, and a small business owner. I may not have been as active on my social feeds as I originally intended, but with good reason.

We wrapped the year with more than 160 hours of tutoring spread across 13 different students and 13 different subjects, with October and November being our busiest months. I also spent the entire second half of the year preparing for my biggest promotion yet: new boss coming in February 2025 🥰

Thank you to all of the families I've worked with so far and those still to come; but bigger thank you to MY family who has stuck by me as I've figured this thing out. Here's to making 2025 even better!
