Progress is well underway on our new Health Sciences building at the Orchard Ridge campus! These rendering photos show what the space will look like.
Projected to open in Fall 2027, this state-of-the-art space will be the new home for our Health Sciences programs, as well as the Dental Hygiene Clinic. We can't wait to open our doors next year!

🦣 A giant is on the move!
We’re excited to announce that Elmer, the Groleau-White Lake Mastodon, is coming to Cranbrook Institute of Science through a long-term partnership with Oakland Community College.
Discovered in 1968 and on display at OCC for more than 40 years, Elmer will begin his journey to Cranbrook this June—where he will be carefully reconstructed and prepared for a major exhibition expansion opening in 2027.
This is more than a move—it’s the next chapter in a 10,000-year-old story.
