This quote is the best advice Holly has ever received from a colleague—and we agree! 💡✨

"I've always loved teaching. 🍎 When I was younger, I played school with anyone who would let me... as long as I got to be the teacher! 👩‍🏫 I also come from a family of educators... I even married a teacher!" ✏️❤️

Mrs. Holly is also a lover of animals! 🐾 "Our family has a dog named Cinder. 🐶 My husband also has two leopard geckos at our house year-round 🦎, and as he is a science teacher 🔬, numerous other classroom pets sometimes come home." 🐹🐢

What is a fun fact about you that your students might be surprised to learn?
I love to travel! ✈️ During college, I lived in Florence, Italy 🇮🇹, for a summer, and I have also traveled to Paris, France 🇫🇷; Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸; and Mexico 🇲🇽. I also enjoy being involved in my community and recently ran for precinct delegate in the August election—and won! 🗳️🎉

What is your go-to teacher snack or coffee order to get through the day?
Mrs. Yousif and I love taking a quick ride to Starbucks at lunchtime! 🚗☕ My favorite order is an Iced Triple Espresso with Marshmallow or Banana Cream Cold Foam, and the cup is lightly lined with caramel sauce. 😋

Outside of teaching, how do you like to spend your weekends or free time?
My parents have a house near Torch Lake 🌊, so we love spending time in Northern Michigan boating 🛥️, relaxing, and enjoying time together as a family. 💙 My son is a college bass angler 🎣, and we often travel to see him compete! 🏆

What is the best advice you’ve ever received from a student?
So many of my students have reminded me that Jesus loves me, and I agree. ✝️ It is always such a sweet and meaningful reminder. 💕 It’s such a blessing to teach at HighPoint! ✨

😁✨ It's a day full of smiles! 🥰😃

Entering her third year at HighPoint, Natalie is excited to teach science 🔬 and social studies 🌍.

Fun fact: Her go-to coffee order is an iced vanilla latte with oat milk ☕.

Outside of teaching, she likes spending time with friends and family, especially while camping 🏕️🌲. Natalie has two dogs 🐶: Buck and Roxy 🐾.

This year, Mrs. Jeannette is excited to teach High School Biology and Anatomy/Physiology. 🧬✨

Growing up, her favorite subject in elementary was reading, which later evolved into a love for English and Biology during her secondary school years. 📚🔬

Her students might be surprised to learn that she loves Adventure Racing! 🧭🚴‍♀️ This is like spending 8 to 10 hours navigating large natural areas across Michigan using just a map and compass while running, biking, and kayaking. 🚣🌲
