You CAN homeschool your teen! And we’re here to support you.

Did you know that we have a new Rochester campus day this fall semester, just for students in 6th-12th grade?

These in-depth classes are taught by experienced educators and help prepare your young adult for college, teach them important life skills, and deep dive into special interests or creative pursuits.

This year at our MS/HS Rochester Friday campus we are offering classes on Creative Writing, World Literature, Speech Skills, Machine Sewing, Forensics Science, Musical Theater, the U.S. Judicial System, Automotive Maintenance, Strategy and Logic through Games.

Your teen will attend class weekly, meet friends their own age, and learn from a teacher passionate about their subject. And it’s one less thing you have to plan and teach yourself!

We also have classes for teens available at our Brighton, Clarkston, and Rochester Tuesday and Thursday campuses.

Classes start mid-September and there is still time to register so your homeschool can start strong this fall! You can attend our next virtual orientation on 9/2 to ask all your questions about the program or give us a call at 248-710-0360.

Meet Wendy!

If you’ve been around Homeschool Connections for a while, you’ve probably heard great things about Wendy. She’s been teaching with us since 2011, and her writing classes are always a student favorite.

This fall, Wendy is teaching three classes at our new Rochester campus for middle and high school students:

Creative Writing, grades 6–12
How to Write a Research Paper, grades 9–12
World Literature & Composition, grades 9–12

Strong writing skills are valuable in just about every area of life, and Wendy’s classes give students a chance to build those skills while developing their own voice, ideas, and creativity.

Classes start mid-September so there is still time to register! To find out more about our program, join our virtual info meeting tonight by signing up at the link in the comments, or call 248-710-0360 for a staff member to assist you with your questions!
