🌽🦆 The Avondale Early Learning Centers had a wonderful fall day at illsfarm this week! 🍂
Our little learners enjoyed up-close encounters with so many farm animals. We milked cows, pet rabbits and chicks, fed ducks and geese and learned all about life on the farm! 🐑🐄
🚜 We also loved taking a bumpy hayride through the woods and picking out our very own pumpkins to bring home! 🎃
A HUGE thank-you to Upland Hills Farm and their amazing farmers, as well as all the Avondale employees and families who helped make this special field trip possible. We’re so grateful for these fun, hands-on learning experiences and the wonderful memories made along the way! ❤️🍁

🌎🎉 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage!❤️
On Tuesday in our Auburn Preschool 3 classroom, we continued our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about Hispanic culture, traditions and the beautiful ways people celebrate their heritage. 🌎✨
To make our learning hands-on and fun, our little learners had the opportunity to design and create their very own Mexican-inspired hats during small group! 👒🎨
Our students used their creativity, colors and imagination while learning that traditions and cultural celebrations help us learn more about one another. ❤️🌎
We loved seeing each child’s unique creation! 🥰✨

🍂 Fall Learning in Auburn Preschool 3! 🎃
Our Auburn Preschool 3 classroom is enjoying the beautiful fall season while learning about weather changes and the natural changes that happen during this time of year.
Through hands-on experiences, our students explored a pumpkin sensory table, where they had the opportunity to investigate pumpkins, identify their different parts, and learn about how pumpkins grow. 🎃🍁
Our little learners were able to touch, observe, explore, and discover while having fun and building meaningful connections to the fall season. We love seeing their curiosity come to life through hands-on learning! 🍂✨

During Work Time, children choose where to play, what materials to use and how to bring their ideas to life. As they build, create, pretend and explore, they practice problem-solving, communication, early math and literacy, and working with others. Teachers join their play to ask questions, introduce new ideas, and support their discoveries. What looks like “just playing” is meaningful learning that builds confidence and independence! 💜

September was full of hands-on learning, exploring, creating and growing in Pre-K! Our students have been busy practicing names and letters, exploring shapes, building fine-motor skills, and learning through play and creativity.

Our Auburn GSRP classroom has been filled with so many smiles and sweet moments this week! From imaginative play and building creations to outdoor adventures and growing friendships, our little learners have been very busy. We love watching our classroom family become more comfortable, confident, and connected each day! 💛🍎

Our first two weeks of Pre-K have been filled with lots of smiles, fresh air, new friendships, and plenty of time to PLAY! From climbing and sliding to running, exploring, and showing off those big personalities, our kiddos are already making the playground their happy place! 🛝☀️

During Week 6 of Summer Camp, our little gardeners were digging into all things flowers! 🌱💐

From planting their very own flower seeds to creating colorful flower crafts, our campers have been learning what plants need to grow while getting their hands a little dirty along the way. They can't wait to watch their flowers sprout and remind them of all the fun they had during Flower Week! 🌸

Growing minds, growing friendships, and growing flowers—what a beautiful week at summer camp!
