The Homestead Academy

What started four years ago with two 4th grade girls is now 50 families, 61 students K–12, and a brand-new elementary school building that’s almost complete!

What a great night welcoming everyone for Meet the Teacher + Parent Orientation and getting ready to kick off a wonderful school year.

We are so grateful for every family partnering with us and making this dream come true.

6:00–6:30 PM | Meet the Teacher
Meet your child’s teacher, see the classroom, and drop off school supplies.

6:30–7:00 PM | Mandatory Parent Orientation
Pastor Matt will walk through everything from our culture and expectations to parent communication, drop-off/pick-up flow, and the practical details that will help us start the year strong and on the same page.

This is such an important night for our school family, and we’re excited to see everyone’s faces and officially kick off a great year together!

There’s been a lot of planning, preparing, learning, laughing, and dreaming together as we get ready to welcome this year’s students. Before the busy season begins, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women who make The Homestead Academy so special.

We truly love our team and are grateful for the heart, joy, and care they bring to our students every single day.

These ladies are so much more than teachers. They are carriers of the presence of Jesus who faithfully pour into the hearts and minds of our students every single day.

They’re helping shape hearts before they shape minds, reminding our students that they are deeply loved, wonderfully made, and fully capable of doing hard things. They call out courage, cultivate curiosity, and create a place where every child is safe to grow, ask questions, fail, learn, and flourish.

We are unbelievably grateful for the incredible team the Lord has entrusted to The Homestead Academy. Our students are blessed because of you.

This week, Pastor Matt is joining hundreds of Christian educators from around the world at the Global Christian Educators Conference on the campus of Oral Roberts University.

We are incredibly honored that The Homestead Academy is a member of the ORU Educational Fellowship (ORUEF) and is currently in pre-candidate status as we pursue full accreditation.

These days are filled with learning, collaboration, encouragement, and a shared vision for Christ-centered education that forms both the mind and the heart. We believe excellence in academics and deep spiritual formation are not competing values—they belong together.

The future is bright, and we are grateful for every family walking this journey with us.

We hope everyone is having a great summer, but goodness we’re missing these moments. ❤️
