During Creative Studio and Teacher Table time, children rotated through hands-on focus letter activities designed to build fine motor skills, letter recognition, and independence. While they worked, I was able to pull 1–3 children at a time to the Teacher Table for individualized instruction and extra support where they needed it most. This is just one small part of our day, but it’s one of my favorite times because every child gets the opportunity to learn at their own level.

RAWR Discovery today was building the anteaters habitat for A! They loved it! Tomorrow we build one for the moose.

Sometimes the best learning opportunities aren’t planned. We discovered an unfertilized bird egg on our fence, carefully examined the shell, and talked about the difference between fertilized and unfertilized eggs. The children observed the delicate shell up close before adding it to our Explore area specimen collection for continued investigation.

We were trying to take a group picture during our backyard recess when someone spotted a squirrel in the tree! Before we knew it, everyone had their binoculars out, searching for our furry visitor. 🐿️ Moments like these remind us that the best learning happens naturally—through curiosity, exploration, and the excitement of discovering something together. 🌳🔍
