March was a fun month! We released our butterflies, built terrariums, and learned about gardens.

Our butterflies have hatched!

The kids have really enjoyed observing the butterfly lifecycle. The chrysalises need 7-10 days and then we’ll have 5 beautiful painted-lady butterflies!

Yeti! (Yetis? Who knows how to spell the plural?) 😂❄️ This was such a fun craft. Students used forks as paintbrushes.

This past month we learned about igloos, snowflakes, and constellations. We also have a new student; Gerald the Dinosaur 😂

I’m so proud of my older students. They’ve been working hard to design cities using geometry and their creativity. Today they cut out all of the grids they designed and glued them in place on giant pieces of cardboard. Next week they’ll start making them 3D!
