Buhach Colony FFA Welcome to the official "like" page for the Buhach Colony FFA chapter of Atwater, California! The Buhach Colony FFA Chapter, is located in Atwater, CA.

We are located within the Merced-Mariposa Section and Central Region of the California FFA Association. With over 800 members and six advisors, we have been steadily growing since 2001, when Buhach Colony High School and our agricultural program opened its doors. We offer a large variety of agricultural courses to prepare our students for future careers in the agriculture field.

The weekend doesn’t stop our members!⚡️🐴Aubrey Del Toro and Maysie Burroughs competed in the Mariposa County Fair Horse Show and Gymkhana. Aubrey won Champion in the Teen Gymkhana and Maysie won Reserve Champion Teen Western High Point. Awesome job to our members for representing Buhach Colony and congratulations to their success!

Hi!!
I’m Kai Sanches, your 2026-2027 Buhach Colony FFA President!
I’m a junior at Buhach Colony, where I will also be serving as our Merced Mariposa Vice President this year! I show and raise beef cattle and Boer goats. From speaking contests to judging teams, my ultimate goal is to help everyone find their purpose and passion within FFA. I want to encourage every member to find their self-confidence and create a bright future for themselves and their community because we are all capable of more than we think!
When I’m not wearing the blue jacket, I love staying active, playing sports, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
I’m so thankful and blessed for this opportunity. Let’s make this a wonderful year!

Your next officer introductions is your 2026-2027 Chapter Vice President, Maysie Burroughs!⚡️

Hi there, my name is Maysie Burroughs and I’m serving as your 2026–2027 Chapter Vice President!
I have competed in Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Project Competition, Creed Speaking, and Prepared Public Speaking LDEs. I’ve also competed in Horse Judging, Livestock Judging, and Marketing Plan CDEs. In addition, I manage several SAE projects, including market goats, sheep, cavy, and an equine therapy animal project.
In my free time, I love showing horses and livestock all around the state at different shows and continuing to grow my involvement in agriculture.
My goal for this year is to build and unite a passion for agriculture within our chapter while encouraging members to get involved, try new things, and make the most of every opportunity FFA has to offer!
Here’s to another year of learning, exploring, and success! 💙💛

Your next officer introductions is your 2026-2027 Chapter Secretary, Anya Gieling!⚡️

Hi BC FFA!! My name is Anya Gieling and I’m so excited to be serving as your 26-27 chapter secretary! 🤍
In my time with FFA I have shown goats, horses and even a guinea pig! I’ve competed in extemporaneous public speaking, livestock judging, vet science and so much more! As an officer I hope I can get to know as many members as I can and help you feel welcomed always.
Outside of FFA, I play varsity basketball and flag football. My faith is very important to me and I started the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club last year! I love spending time with my family and going to yogolicious or Dutch with my friends!
I can’t wait to have a great junior year and make so many great memories

Your next officer introductions is your 2026-2027 Chapter Reporter, Harley Wortman!⚡️

Hi! My name is Harley Wortman, and I am honored to serve as your 2026–2027 Chapter Reporter. I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to represent our chapter this year.

My SAE project focuses on raising and showing sheep. I have been showing sheep for seven years and started my own breeding program five years ago. Through FFA, I have competed in Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Milk Quality and Products, Food Science, Project Competition, Impromptu Speaking, and Small Engines.

Outside of FFA, I enjoy working on my 1969 Volkswagen Beetle, showing and breeding sheep, hiking, thrifting, and browsing for homes in Oregon.

I am truly excited to serve as your reporter this year and hope to represent our chapter well. I look forward to meeting and welcoming both new and returning FFA members and making this a great year for everyone!💕

Hey everyone! I’m Haylee Wortman, a junior and your 2026–2027 Chapter Treasurer! 💙💛 I’m truly honored to serve in this leadership role and excited to help our chapter grow, stay organized, and make this an impactful year for all members.

As Chapter Treasurer, I take pride in being responsible for managing our chapter’s finances, supporting fundraising efforts, and helping ensure we have the resources needed for events, activities, and competitions. I’m committed to being dependable, involved, and a leader who helps our chapter succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Agriculture has always been a huge part of my life. I breed Boer goats and have a whole menagerie of farm animals that keep me busy! 🐐🐓🐴 When I’m not playing flag football, soccer, or running track, you’ll most likely find me on the ranch with my animals, riding horses, or spending time outside. I’m especially excited for our two foals to be born this year! 🐴✨

FFA has shaped so much of who I am, and I’m proud to compete in Job Interview and Milk Quality Judging while also staying active in volunteering and chapter events. I’m looking forward to serving, leading, and helping make this year one of our best yet! 💙💛

Hi!!! My name is Aubree Flores and I am beyond excited to be your 2026-2027 Buhach Colony FFA Chapter Sentinel. I am a sophomore here at Buhach Colony, and am also on the Varsity Girls Volleyball team and the Girls Track team. Ive been actively involved in FFA and 4-H and showing market goats since I was 9. When im not showing at livestock shows, or FFA events I enjoy playing competitive volleyball, going to concerts, going through the Dutch Bros drive through, and hanging out with my friends and family. FFA has made me the person I am today and I can’t wait to welcome you all and help you find your place in our amazing FFA family!
