Attleboro Public Schools Before and After Childcare Programs. There was one location at Studley Elementary School with eight children enrolled.

Attleboro Public Schools established the Before/After School Childcare in the fall of 1990. The service was for children in grades K through 4, with a staff consisting of one Lead Provider. ABACUS has since expanded to 5 elementary sites and 3 middle schools. The elementary programs utilize the cafeteria, gymnasium and other rooms as needed. The combined programs have an enrollment of over 400 chi

ldren, employing a full time Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, and over 40 Lead and Assistant Providers. The program is supervised by and accountable to the Coordinator/Assistant Coordinator, who report to the Superintendent of Schools and/or their designee. The program is governed by the Attleboro School Department. The program is self-sufficient and is funded entirely by parent tuitions. In the event that a profit is realized, that money will go toward program expansion and support of other school programs. Whenever available ABACUS also utilizes grant money.

We are not accepting Summer registrations tomorrow, our summer program is full. Thank you ☀️

Mark your calendars for Monday, May 5th, 2025, for ABACUS registration day!
We'll be open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

We kindly ask you to park in the lot furthest from the building on Handy Street. The lot next to the building is reserved for staff to ensure the safety of families in the area. Thank you for your cooperation!

You can pick up the registration paperwork at the ABACUS Office during the week of April 28th. The registration fee is $45 for each child, and it must be paid by check or money order at the time of registration.

Half-day contracts will also be offered, for an additional registration fee depending on your child's enrollment schedule.

Every family is required to fill out a new registration packet and register annually.

Registration paperwork will be available the week of (Mon, April 28-Fri, May 2nd) to pick up at our office (908 Oakhill Ave.) and complete at home.
Paperwork can only be handed in starting Monday, May 5th and space is on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact the office with any questions 508-222-0309.

Hello Families,
ABACUS registrations for April Vacation and Summer are now available. Both of these programs are first come, first serve.

April Vacation deadline is Thursday, March 20 and some grades are close to full.

Summer Vacation will run from Monday, June 30 - Friday, August 8th (6 consecutive weeks). We have already received many registrations this week for the summer program and anticipate it will fill up fast!

Check out our Wamsutta ABACUS students!

The kids had an idea of helping out the community and thought why not make hats for people who need them. It then branched out to scarves and a logo was made and the rest is history. The kids either complete it themselves or take turns with other students to finish them. The kids then package them up and after they have a bulk amount of them, they are donating to shelters and programs in Attleboro and surrounding areas with the help of their ABACUS teachers Miss Laura & Mr. Colin! 👏👏👏

Fall 2024/2025 ABACUS registration will be held Monday, May 6th (6:30am-6:30pm) for GRADES K-8th, we will not be registering Pre-K at this time.

Registration paperwork will be available next week (Mon, April 29-Fri, May 3rd) to pick up at our office (908 Oakhill Ave.) and complete at home.
