What an awesome week we all had at our annual Go Kart Academy! Every summer we host 6-8th graders for a whole week of building go karts and driving them on the last day. The students also got the opportunity to learn about the four strokes of an engine, oil/fluids, shop safety, teamwork, and so much more!!

Today was officially the last day of the 2025/2026 Ed Tech school year! For our Seniors:
It has been a pleasure preparing you for going out into adulthood. We are excited to see where life takes each of you! 🎓
For our Juniors:
We will see you all back here in August for your senior year! 2027🚘

I had the pleasure of attending the Quest Graduation ceremony this evening. It was fantastic to witness Nick Kloss and his fellow 2026 graduates receive their diplomas! Nick gave a beautiful speech and it was great seeing how far he has come! He also received a couple scholarships that will help him further his automotive education at UTI in Georgia this fall.
Mr. Hoskins and I are extremely proud of your achievements, Nick! 👨🏻‍🎓
(Unfortunately, Mr. Hoskins was unable to attend due to training commitments up north, he was there in spirit!)

In June, we will be hosting a week-long Go Kart Camp for middle school students. Our students are currently hard at work disassembling the karts to prepare them for camp. It was so nice to see our students working together and having good communication!

Our Lapeer Ed Tech Junior Award ceremony was held today. We are so proud of the following students for earning Junior awards. We chose these students based and attendance, grade, and most importantly their excellent Work Ethic!
