We took students out to Ferris State University to compete against other trade schools in Michigan at their annual Welding and Machining competitions the past few days. Although we did not place, these students got to experience stepping outside of their comfort zone, practicing their skills on new machines and meeting other students from around the state. So very proud of them! 👩🏻‍🏭🧑🏻‍🔧

This week, our seniors had an opportunity to host the Automotive students in our welding lab. They did a fantastic job becoming teachers for the day- explaining and demonstrating basic Mig, Tig, and Stick welding techniques 👨🏻‍🏭👩🏻‍🏭

Today 40 students and staff volunteered our day to sort and pack food boxes for the elderly and families in need in Southeast Michigan. Great job today to everyone that showed up and helped, we packed 928 boxes containing over 35,000 lbs of food!
