EHS Weekly Announcements

The Herff Jones representative will be in the lunchroom on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 a.m. for cap and gown orders and/or payments on orders. This will be your final opportunity to order a cap and gown without being charged a late fee of $15. Currently, you will owe $71.50 but after this opportunity to order you will owe $88.00 with the added late fee.

Senior parents - it’s not too late to complete the FAFSA, please email Mrs. Brown, our Career Coach, to set up an appointment today at [email protected]. Also senior parents, if you would like to receive scholarship emails from Mrs. Brown send her your email address. All seniors that have completed their FAFSA 100% by December 16th will go into a drawing for a free gas gift card.

Thank you to all faculty, staff, and students for participating in the Sleep in Heavenly Peace. At Etowah High School, we raised $328 that will go to help build beds for children in Etowah County that sleep on the floor.

Are you taking the ACT on December 10? Do you want to grab a few last minute tips/ tricks prior to taking the test? If so, join Mrs. Lett in room 132 on the following dates/ times:
Thursday, December 8 @ 7:30 (zero block) for English and Reading
Friday, December 9 @ 7:30 (zero block) for Math and Science

Congratulations to the competition cheer squad for qualifying for the AHSAA state championships.

The canned food drive ends on Wednesday, Nov. 16th. You may drop off your donations in the library or any of the boxes located around campus. Thank you for helping your community have a great Thanksgiving meal.

We will have a system wide fundraiser for Sleep in Heavenly Peace on Tuesday, November 29th. Students are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring a $2 donation.
