Our Etowah High School Cheerleaders, Danceline, and Colorguard helped welcome students during morning drop-off at Attalla Elementary School! There’s no better way to start the day than with plenty of smiles, school spirit, and Blue Devil pride!

We love seeing our older students serve as positive role models for our youngest Blue Devils. Thank you for helping make this Game Day morning extra special!

We welcomed our second group of students back to Attalla City Schools today as we continued our staggered start to the 2026–2027 school year.

There were more first-day smiles, more new backpacks, more friends reunited, and more students settling into their classrooms for the year ahead.

And tomorrow, we’re all together! We can’t wait to have every Blue Devil back in our schools as we get this school year underway.

Thank You, Attalla!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Attalla Water Board for their generous donations to each of our schools!

We are also incredibly grateful to the citizens and business owners throughout the City of Attalla who chose to support Attalla City Schools through contributions made on their water bills. Your generosity and continued support directly benefit our students and schools and are a wonderful example of what makes our community so special.

Thank you, Attalla Water Board, and thank you to everyone who contributed! Your support truly makes a difference.

The halls are filling up again!

From first-day smiles and new backpacks to finding classrooms, catching up with friends and settling in for a new year, it was a great day across Attalla City Schools!

We loved welcoming our first group of students back today as we kicked off our staggered start to the 2026–2027 school year.
There’s nothing quite like the excitement of a new school year, and we’re just getting started!

We’re excited to welcome our students back for the 2026–2027 school year!

Just a reminder that Attalla City Schools will begin with a staggered start schedule:

📅 Wednesday, August 12 — Students with last names A–K
📅 Thursday, August 13 — Students with last names L–Z
📅 Friday, August 14 — ALL students

Please help us spread the word and make sure everyone knows which day to report!

Welcome Back, Blue Devils!

It was wonderful to see our schools filled with students and families again tonight for Meet the Teacher!

From finding classrooms and opening lockers to meeting teachers, picking up schedules, and reconnecting with friends, there was plenty of excitement across all our Attalla City Schools as we prepare for another great year.

Thank you to all of our families who joined us at Attalla Elementary, Etowah Middle, and Etowah High School and to our faculty and staff who have worked hard to get everything ready to welcome our students back.

We can’t wait to see everyone as we kick off the 2026-2027 school year!
