🔨💡 BUILD IT! CAMP is coming to GRIT! 💡🔨
If your kid loves to build, create, experiment, or figure out how things work, this camp is for them!
Over TWO days, kids will take on all kinds of hands-on building and engineering challenges — think marble runs, balloon-powered cars, zip line challenges, cardboard arcades, bridge building, quick-build competitions, and MORE!
They’ll get to design, test, make mistakes, try again, work together, and see just how creative they can get! And of course, we’ll throw in a little friendly competition along the way.

📚 A little something new is out front at GRIT!

We now have our very own Little Free Library! ❤️

Take a book, leave a book, or do both! We hope this little library brings a little more reading into our community and gives everyone a chance to find a book they’ll love.

And you don’t have to be a GRIT family to use it! It’s here for our entire community. So whether you’re a student, a parent, a neighbor, or just someone who loves a good book—stop by and grab one! 📖✨

Viral Trends Camp was a MESS… and we loved every second of it. 😂

Our campers made their own squishies with shaving cream, conditioner, foam, and beads, and enjoyed a candy salad that was basically pure sugar. Somehow, we ended up with shaving cream on the CEILING and a foam trail running through GRIT. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

The kids had an absolute blast, laughed nonstop, and went home completely hyped up with memories that will last a long time.

Was it messy? Absolutely.
Was it worth it? 100%.

We’ll be announcing our September camp tomorrow… any guesses what the theme will be? 👀

‼️If you’re here because you found one of our kindness rocks around the community—or because you scanned the QR code on the back—WELCOME!‼️

We’d love for you to comment below with a picture of the rock you found so we can see where they ended up!

Today at GRIT, we talked about how kindness can spread from one person to another. We did a little activity where we put glitter on our hands and passed it along with a handshake. Before long, everyone had a little bit of glitter (and kindness) on their hands!

Then we made kindness rocks to leave around our community. Each student picked a message and decorated a rock with the hope that someone would find it and it would brighten their day.

We hope these little rocks make their way around our community and remind people that even small acts of kindness can make a difference.

So, if you found one, let us see it! We can’t wait to see where our rocks ended up! 🪨

A huge thank you to Brighton Baptist Church for blessing GRIT with Bibles for our students to use! ❤️

As we prepare to begin our very first school year, we can’t wait to put these Bibles to use - opening God’s Word with our students, growing in faith together, and keeping Christ at the center of everything we do. We truly couldn’t ask for a better way to start this journey.

Thank you, Brighton Baptist, for your generosity, your prayers, and for believing in what God is doing through GRIT. We are so grateful for your support and can’t wait to see all that God has in store for this school year!

GRIT Parent Meeting — August 4th!

The start of our first year at GRIT is almost here! Before we officially get started, we want to make sure our families have all the information they need for a smooth start to the school year.

6:00 PM — Parents of students already enrolled at GRIT
We’ll go over schedules, drop-off and pick-up, what to bring, daily routines, expectations, communication, and other important information for the year ahead.

7:00 PM — Families interested in GRIT
Come meet us, learn how GRIT works, hear about our different options, and ask any questions you may have!
