What an amazing day for the Tushka PTO! 💚🐅

We kicked off the morning with a little fun game for our incredible staff. Congratulations to our lucky winners, who each took home $100! We hope it added a little excitement as everyone prepared for a great school year.

Later, we were honored to provide lunch for our staff from Jett Fuel as a small way to say thank you for all they do for our students.

During lunch, we also had the privilege of celebrating our outstanding superintendent, Mr. Matt Simpson, who was recently named District 17 Superintendent of the Year. We presented him with a small gift to recognize this well-deserved honor. Mr. Simpson is a tremendous supporter of our students, staff, community, and PTO. Many of us on the PTO have a long history with him in his many positions over the years. We are so grateful for his leadership and dedication to our school and community.

After lunch, we enjoyed meeting families at Meet the Teacher while welcoming new PTO members. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table. We’re excited for another great year!

A very special thank you to our talented PTO member, Kendra Jill Cannon, who designed and hand-painted the beautiful photo-op backdrops in both the elementary and high school hallways. We hope they help our Tiger families capture special memories as we begin a new school year. 📸

We couldn’t ask for a better way to kick off the year. Here’s to an amazing 2026-2027 school year! Go Tigers! 💚🖤

To kick off the new school year with a little fun, the Tushka faculty participated in a “Find the T” game sponsored by the Tushka PTO! Hidden “T” was placed multiple locations around campus, and staff members searched high and low to find them.

Congratulations to our lucky winners, who each took home $100! 💵👏
