Yesterday, Tushka FCCLA attended Career Day at Frontier city , where members learned about careers that involve hospitality and Tourism located in Frontier City, members also got to experience the first night of Fright Fest!!

🎪🎡 What a busy and exciting week for Tushka FCCLA! 🎡🎪

Our FCCLA members have been busy learning, leading, serving, and representing our school and community!

📚 Ag in the Classroom & Read Across America
We kicked off the week with our FCCLA members reading books to our kindergarten students as part of Ag in the Classroom and Read Across America. Our members enjoyed sharing an agriculture-themed book while encouraging our youngest students to develop a love for reading and learn more about agriculture! 🌱📖

⭐ SE LEAD ’26 – “The World’s Greatest Leadership Conference!” ⭐
Our Chapter and District Officers traveled to McAlester to attend SE LEAD ’26, where our chapter officers had the opportunity to network with other FCCLA leaders, learn how to conduct a chapter meeting, and develop the leadership skills needed to lead our chapter.

We were also inspired by an incredible keynote from Dustin Galyon, who challenged our students to step outside their comfort zones, push themselves, and always give their very best. 💪✨

Our officers participated in workshops led by State Officers that encouraged them to think outside the box, bring new ideas to our chapter, and discover new ways to make Tushka FCCLA even better!

There is nothing better than watching our students grow in confidence and leadership while taking advantage of opportunities that help prepare them for the future! ❤️💙

🤠 Serving Our Community with the Atoka Trailriders
Our members then put leadership into action by volunteering with the Atoka Trailriders Rodeo, working in the concession stand and learning the importance of teamwork, service, and giving back to our community.

🎉 Annual Trailriders Rodeo Parade 🎉
On Saturday, we were honored to be a part of the Annual Trailriders Rodeo Parade! Our advisor and members were recognized as Grand Marshals, and our students proudly walked the parade route alongside our Tushka Tiger Activity Bus, handing out candy and representing Tushka FCCLA with pride. Also last night during the rodeo 7th grade member Miss Layla Henderson proudly sang the National Anthem during the opening portion of the rodeo!!

And to make the day even more special… our group was chosen as the BEST WALKING GROUP of the parade! 🏆🎉

What an incredible week for our members! From reading to kindergarteners, to developing leadership skills, to serving our community and representing Tushka with pride, our students continue to show what leadership, service, and FCCLA spirit are all about!

Tushka FCCLA had a great time at the ULC the Ultimate Leadership Camp, Peyton and Kamri met new friends and learned new leadersip skills . Can’t wait to see where their FCCLA journey takes them !!!

Ready for Day 2 FCCLA State Star Events morning session !!!! Today at FCCLA State STAR Events, students are building essential job interview and workplace readiness skills while learning how to creatively repurpose projects.

This afternoon, we’re taking it a step further by advocating for adoption as part of FCCLA and as well as highlighting how FCCLA as it connects to our school curriculum. We’re proud to empower students with real-world skills while making a difference in our communities!

Day 1 State Star Events!!! This morning at FCCLA State STAR Events, our students are proudly promoting National Programs focused on traffic safety, mental health awareness, and fire safety in the home.

They are also building valuable life skills by practicing job interview techniques, exploring entrepreneurship by learning how to create their own businesses, and developing teaching projects to educate younger students.

We are proud to see our students growing as leaders, learners, and advocates! Participates are
Addison Karn-National Programs in Action, Kindle Willis and Bentlee Hamilton -National Programs in Action , Peyton Springer and Kamri Hauff National Programs In Action , Adalie Hoegh -Job Interview , Hagyn Gossett - Entrepreneurship, and Isabella Bender- Teach and Train , so proud of each one of these as a represent our school in chapter.
