Ready for Day 2 FCCLA State Star Events morning session !!!! Today at FCCLA State STAR Events, students are building essential job interview and workplace readiness skills while learning how to creatively repurpose projects.

This afternoon, we’re taking it a step further by advocating for adoption as part of FCCLA and as well as highlighting how FCCLA as it connects to our school curriculum. We’re proud to empower students with real-world skills while making a difference in our communities!

Day 1 State Star Events!!! This morning at FCCLA State STAR Events, our students are proudly promoting National Programs focused on traffic safety, mental health awareness, and fire safety in the home.

They are also building valuable life skills by practicing job interview techniques, exploring entrepreneurship by learning how to create their own businesses, and developing teaching projects to educate younger students.

We are proud to see our students growing as leaders, learners, and advocates! Participates are

health awareness month is coming up in May and Tushka FCCLA is promoting that Mental Health Matters !

With all their recent wild fires, Tushka FCCLA is working on their project to help prevent fires, and promote Fire Safety in their homes, With The FCCLA Families First Project, Students work to help strengthen family relations and help keep families safe.

Tushka FCCLA spent an exciting day at the State Capitol advocating for Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) education and representing FCCLA with pride. Members met with legislators to share the importance of FACS programs and student leadership opportunities. Students also received a personal tour of the House Chambers, giving them a firsthand look at how state government operates.

During the visit, students participated in the FACS Science Challenge, where Holly Estep and Sunnie Cable earned 1st place and won $100 for their outstanding presenting Throughout the day, Tushka FCCLA members connected with chapters from across the state, building friendships and learning more about the legislative process and how students can make their voices heard.

This experience helped our students develop leadership skills, civic awareness, and a deeper understanding of how advocacy and education impact our communities. Attending were Adalie Hoegh, Jolynn Benson , Deacon Crow, Sunnie Cable and Holly Estep .

Tushka FCCLA competed in Regional Competitions in McAlester on Feb 4th, we had 28 competitors in 18 different contests, with Holly Estep and Sunnie Cable serving as time keepers So proud of all of our students who represented us yesterday at the Southeast Regional FCCLA STAR Events in McAlester! 🌟

With being out if school for over a week and not being able go practice, Competition was tough, and every one of our competitors did an amazing job—scoring high and giving it their all. While not everyone placed, each student showed professionalism, preparation, and confidence, and that’s something to celebrate. 💪row, and we couldn’t be prouder of this group. ❤️
