🔥🏆 THAT'S A WRAP ON THE 2026 NATIVE CLASSIC & NATIVE YOUTH CLASSIC! 🏆🔥

Another year. Another unforgettable chapter.

We have witnessed incredible talent, fierce competition, clutch performances, and memories that will last a lifetime. Every team came ready to compete, and every game reminded us why these tournaments continue to be one of the premier events in Indian Country.

👏 Congratulations to all of our 2026 Native Classic and Native Youth Classic Winners! You earned every moment of your victory through hard work, determination, and heart.

A very special THANK YOU goes out to our incredible PCI Recreation staff and Board Members! Behind every game, every field, every schedule, every scoreboard, and every championship moment is a team of dedicated individuals who work tirelessly before, during, and after the tournament to make this event a success. Their countless hours, commitment, and passion often go unseen, but none of this would be possible without them. We are beyond grateful for everything they do to provide an unforgettable experience for our athletes and families.

🚨 Recreation Fitness Center Trial Hours – This Week Only 🚨

The Recreation Fitness Center will be open for a trial run this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday only.

Trial Hours:
🕔 Thursday: 5:00 AM–8:00 PM
🕔 Friday: 5:00 AM–8:00 PM
🕔 Saturday: 5:00 AM–5:00 PM

During trial hours:
• Front door will be unlocked—no key fob required.
• Staff will check in periodically throughout the day.
• All patrons must sign in/out and follow facility rules.
Eligible Users: Tribal Members, Tribal Member Spouses, First-Generation Descendants & Spouses, and Tribal Employees.

⚠️ Emergency: Call 911 first, then 251-490-3540.
We appreciate your patience and feedback as we evaluate these extended hours!

Please have all game bats tested before tournament play. We will also be testing bats Friday and Saturday but you must come an hour before your first game to test them.

📢 Tournament Update – Bat Policy & Important Information

At the Recreation Department, the safety of our participants is always our highest priority. We are constantly planning and evaluating our sporting events to provide the safest and best experience possible. The original decision to provide game bats was made with player safety in mind.

After further review, we have decided to allow players to use their own bats for this year’s event, provided they pass our bat inspection and testing process.

🚫 Bats Not Permitted:
A list of prohibited bats will be posted separately.

🗓️ Bat Testing Dates & Times:
To be announced.

👥 Coaches Meeting:
A coach or designated team representative must attend the coaches meeting. Tournament rules, procedures, and important information will be reviewed and distributed at that time.

🥎 Net Rules:
• 50+ Division: The safety net is mandatory.
• 40+ Division: The use of the safety net is optional on a team-by-team basis. A team may choose to use the net even if the opposing team does not. Teams are responsible for placing and removing the net as needed during the game.
• Men’s & Women’s Divisions: The safety net will be used only if both teams agree before the game.

Beginning in September, the Recreation Department will conduct a comprehensive review of all tournament rules for next year’s event. We welcome constructive feedback and encourage you to share your ideas with Recreation Department staff or Recreation Board members.

📢 Native Classic Adult Softball Tournament – Important Announcements 🥎

As we get closer to tournament time, please take a moment to review these important updates:

✅ Bats Provided
All game bats will be provided by the tournament. There will be no bat testing, as only tournament-provided bats will be used.

🆔 Player Check-In Requirements
To ensure a smooth check-in process, please make sure every player brings the appropriate identification.

Tribal Players:
• Must present their Tribal ID at check-in.
• If you do not have your Tribal ID, you must bring your tribal verification letter and a valid driver's license to be verified.

Non-Tribal Players:
• Must present a valid driver's license or other government-issued photo ID at check-in.

⏰ Registration Deadline
Registration closes Friday, July 17 at 5:00 PM. No late entries will be accepted.
