To be mentioned by someone at Middle States Association is always an honor...but to be shared on the National Microschooling Center’s page is another way MSA has shown their support.

Please help us help this church! They helped us (school wise and personally) when we had to make a quick change due to a difficult time and we want to give back to them.

The HVAC unit is almost 30 years old and has done all it can. They are in need (and, yes, our school as well) of a new unit. It is still hot here in south Alabama and we need to replace this unit now for our student and this church community.

Even if you can't give financially, please consider sharing to help reach others that might be willing to give back.

We're excited to welcome our students and families for Back to School Night at The Mission Academy!

Come meet our staff, connect with other families, hear about this year's vision, and get everything you need for an incredible school year.

🍕 Pizza will be provided!

A special thank you to Domino's Atmore for generously donating half the cost of tonight's pizzas. We are so thankful for businesses that invest in our students and community!

We can't wait to see everyone tonight!

Did you know that one of the largest investments we make each year is equipping our students with the resources they need to learn?

Beyond technology and helping cover the utilities and facilities provided by Changing a Generation, the everyday classroom supplies add up quickly—novels, science experiment materials, printer toner, copy paper, art supplies, notebooks, and so much more.

That's why we're partnering with AdoptAClassroom with a goal of raising $10,000 to help equip our classrooms for another incredible year.

If you believe in our mission of reaching students for Christ through education, would you consider making a gift? Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide the tools our students need to discover, create, explore, and grow.

✨ Learning with purpose.

We want students to do more than complete assignments — we want them to grow in wisdom, character, creativity, responsibility, and confidence as they learn.

📚 Curiosity doesn’t stop for summer.

Some of the best learning happens outside the classroom — through books, projects, conversations, adventures, creativity, and simply paying attention to the world around us.

Keep wondering. Keep exploring.

☀️ Rest is part of growth too.

Summer gives us space to slow down, reflect, reset, and prepare for what comes next. Rest is not wasted time — it’s part of healthy growth.

Check out our case study at MSA's page!

The Mission Academy is a small, faith-based microschool in rural Alabama -- and they just became MSA NGA Micro accredited without compromising the flexible, learner-driven model their families chose them for.

Every new family used to ask the same question: "Are you accredited?" Now the answer is simple.

✨ Still dreaming. Still building. Still learning.

Even during the quieter seasons, growth is still happening. Ideas are forming, plans are being made, and we’re already looking ahead to what’s next at The Mission Academy.
