🎃👻 Our Fall Festival & Haunted Hayride is Almost Here! 👻🎃

We are getting closer to one of our favorite events of the year, and we're stepping things up this year! 💜💛

We have some exciting things planned, including:

🎃 A Silent Auction

🎯 Games and Food in the gym

🌽 An Inflatable Corn Maze outside

🚜 And, of course, our Haunted Hayride!

Our PTO has some exciting plans to add animatronic Halloween decorations throughout the hayride, but we all know that real people make it even scarier and more fun! 👻

That's where we need YOUR help! We're looking for volunteers who are willing to dress up as spooky characters along the hayride route or help run games during the festival.

Whether you enjoy giving people a good scare or would rather help with the games, there's a place for you!

If you're willing to help make this year's event our best one yet, please sign up using the link below!

🚒🔥 It’s National Fire Prevention Week! 🔥🚒

A BIG thank you to the Down East Fire Department for visiting Atlantic Elementary and teaching our Pirates about fire safety! We appreciate our local firefighters taking the time to share these important, potentially lifesaving lessons with our students! ❤️

There’s no better time to check your smoke detectors and review your family’s fire safety plan! 🏠🚨

Did you know? Carteret County offers a FREE program to provide smoke detectors to families in need!

If your family needs smoke detectors, please contact the school. We’ll be happy to add your name to our list and share it with the county.

Working together to keep our Pirate families safe! 💜💛🏴‍☠️

A big thank you to Porch Gourds for decorating the front of Atlantic Elementary! 🎃💜💛

This beautiful display was a wonderful incentive for bringing the DARE program to our school. We truly appreciate Porch Gourds for supporting our Pirates and helping make our school look so festive for fall!

We are grateful for community partners who support our students and our school! 🏴‍☠️🎃

💜💛 Happy Custodian Recognition Day! 💛💜

Today, we are especially thankful for two of the very best—Mr. Rodney and Mr. Ben!

They do so much behind the scenes each and every day to keep Atlantic Elementary clean, safe, and running smoothly. We truly don’t know what we would do without them!

Thank you, Mr. Rodney and Mr. Ben, for your hard work, dedication, and for always being willing to help wherever you’re needed. We are so lucky to have you as part of our Pirate family! 🏴‍☠️

We appreciate you both more than you know! 💜💛
