Day 2 at NAfME CLAS is complete!! 😌🥳

Today, we engaged in our leadership trainings, collaborated across divisions, and connected with state and national music education leaders, sharing ideas and learning how we can bridge the gap between chapters and stay connected beyond the conference. We also had the opportunity to sit in on the Eastern Division meeting and learn what other states are doing to grow and support their music programs!

As we wrap up Day 2, we’re energized and ready for tomorrow, joining over 95+ music educators on Capitol Hill to advocate for music education at the federal level. Remember, it starts TODAY! Let’s keep using our voices to make a difference! 💪🎵

Last week, members of the NJMEA Collegiate board attended the Collegiate Leadership Advocacy Summit in Virginia 🎼

As part of the summit, members met other collegiate members and educators from across the country and attended various workshops and professional developments. On the third day of the summit members participated in NAfME Hill Day, where the group advocated for music education at various New Jersey house and senate offices on Capitol Hill.

Thank you to the NJMEA Board for having us attend this year's summit!
