The 9th Annual Funky Monk Fish & Music Fest Returns to Brigantine for Its Final Celebration

BRIGANTINE, NJ — The community is invited to gather for the 9th and final Funky Monk Fish & Music Fest on Wednesday, September 30, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Cove Restaurant in Brigantine, New Jersey.

This beloved annual event honors the life and legacy of Dr. Scott E. Monk, a dedicated trauma and critical care surgeon whose passion for medicine, education, family, and music touched countless lives throughout the region.

Dr. Monk served as Medical Director at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City and was widely respected for his exceptional patient care, leadership, and commitment to educating future healthcare professionals.

Guests attending the final Funky Monk Fish & Music Fest will enjoy:

Live entertainment by the Eddie Testa Band

Most importantly, proceeds from the evening will benefit the Scott E. Monk Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in healthcare.
