Our EI2 Global program works with organizations and universities to help them build ecosystems for successful economic development. But it also works with companies from overseas that are exploring the idea of coming to the U.S. market. That intensive program, hashtag , led by Alberto Ponce, helps these companies understand the U.S. business landscape and if expanding makes sense for them. Since launching in 2019, SoftLanding has worked with 22 companies, helping 15 of them build operations — and jobs — in the U.S. The most recent is Mesh Medical Shapes, co-founded by David Calle, from Medellín Colombia: https://innovate.gatech.edu/mesh-medical-shapes-a-soft-landing-success-story/
