Welcome to the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) of Georgia State University College of Law page. This is a place for the public to connect with us and learn about upcoming events for the chapter.

Law school is a new experience, and with that comes a new set of challenges and learning curves. BLSA will be hosting its annual 1L Mock Exam on Saturday, October 24th. This will give 1Ls the opportunity to sit for a simulated contracts, torts, or civ pro exam. Open to all 1Ls!

For BLSA members, one free exam is included with your membership, with a $5 fee for every additional exam you choose to take.

For non-members, one exam is $20, with a $5 fee for every additional exam you choose to take.

On Wednesday, September 9th, BLSA is hosting a professionalism workshop. We will be going over proper dress, thank you notes, meal etiquette, and more! This a great opportunity for students and we hope to see you all there!

Join us Monday, August 31st at noon for Black August. Come learn about Black August, an annual commemoration of activists, writers, and organizers from organizations such as the Black Panther Party who have been targeted by the government for imprisonment due to their political activity. We will engage with the four tenets of Black August, including learning how to support the freedom campaign for political prisoners and writing them letters. We look forward to seeing you there!
