"At Mooreville Elementary, third through fifth graders now compete as members of four houses. Lawhon Elementary is entering its second year with a house system inspired by the academy. Teachers at Shannon Elementary and Tupelo Middle School have incorporated other pieces of what they saw, from classroom chants to new ways of getting students involved in lessons."

❤️ WELCOME TO THE RCA FAMILY, DR. BRITNEY SCHNEIDER! 📚✨

Dr. Schneider joined us from Muscle Shoals City Schools in Alabama, where she served as principal of McBride Elementary School. Her journey in education has taken her from the classroom to instructional coaching, school leadership, and higher education, all grounded in a passion for literacy, student engagement, and building strong school culture.

A National Board Certified Teacher, Dr. Schneider earned her Doctorate in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama and received numerous honors throughout her career for her leadership and teaching.

As her son prepared to head to college, Dr. Schneider embraced a longtime dream of her own: returning to the classroom and joining RCA. 💫

We were thrilled to welcome the warmth, creativity, expertise, and passion Dr. Schneider brought to ELA and to our students each day.

We were proud to celebrate Dr. Camille Jones Ford Ford, RCA Math Department Chair, for being selected to participate in the 2025 Rosenthal Prize Summer Institute at the National Museum of Mathematics ( ) in New York City! 🎉➗

Dr. Jones Ford joined a select cohort of educators from across the country for an immersive professional development experience focused on innovative mathematics instruction, engaging pedagogy, and creative approaches to math outreach. Participants explored Rosenthal Prize-winning lessons, developed strategies to bring those ideas into their own classrooms, and examined ways to make mathematics joyful, hands-on, and memorable for students.

We’re proud to have educators like Dr. Jones Ford who continue to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas back to our students and the RCA community. Please join us in celebrating this incredible accomplishment! 👏🏾💙
