This free, virtual competition is open to students in rising 4th through 12th grades (ages 9-18).

The 2025 Bright Spark® Graphic Design Challenge is about to begin!
This free, virtual competition is open to students in rising 4th through 12th grades (ages 9-18).

This is your chance to showcase creativity and design skills while making an impact! This year, we’re challenging students to answer: “How Might We inspire our community to get active?”

Your task:

🎨 Create an original graphic design (scanned or digital) or photograph that visually inspires movement and community engagement.
📄 Submit a title and a short (under 40 words) description of how your design promotes getting active.
📢 Entries will be judged based on focus, creativity, ex*****on, and originality by our Bright Spark® Judges.
🏆 Winners will be recognized in the Spring 2025 Bright Spark® Virtual Awards Ceremony!

Awards include:

How Might We reimagine temporary housing to help people in crisis?

In the Bright Spark® 2024 Invention Challenge, 4th to 12th grade students were asked to use design thinking to solve this important problem.

These young inventors have submitted 85 inventions as pitch videos. We need your help in determining our finalists.

Here's how it works:

Vote for the best inventions by 'liking' your favorite pitch videos on the Bridge Innovate YouTube Channel.

The most “liked” videos in each age group (Elementary School, Middle School, and High School) will become our finalists.

These finalists will move on to our panel of expert judges to determine our winners. The top “liked” video will receive our People’s Choice Award.
