Congratulations to the Problem 3 Division 1 Odyssey of the Mind team from Ashford Park, they placed 5th at Odyssey of the Mind World Finals.

Fifth Grade Week was full of energy, slime, bounce houses, glow parties, and hats. We're so proud of these students and are excited for their next adventure to middle school! Congratulations, Eagles!

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 Eagles! The Senior Walk is such a special tradition and it was such an honor to see them walk through our halls one last time before heading off to college! We couldn’t be more proud! 🦅

Our last Garden Club was this week and the students reflected on favorite things and provided thoughtful feedback for future years! Students also participated in a “Bird Beak Lab” to test how different types of bird beaks are better adapted to different types, textures, and sizes of food. They tried to pickup many kinds of “bird food” including sprinkles, sunflower seeds, marshmallows and gummy worms with their differently shaped “beaks” (toothpicks, clothespins, spoons, etc). Next time you see a bird, take a peak at its beak and try to guess what it eats!
Everyone played a role in our regular garden maintenance and finally getting to harvest some of the fruits of our labor! Hopefully some leeks, garlic, cilantro, or lettuce made it home to you!
During the summer, our garden will need regular weeding, watering, and harvesting this summer- please keep an eye on your inbox for a summer signup to help with this maintenance!
