This week around the herd: All grades enjoyed playing capture the flag in PE, starting new projects in Art, and fun games in Music.  Kindergarten was busy making new friends, 1st grade loved learning about the library and getting to check out books, 2nd grade dipped their toes into some experiments, 3rd grade worked with their Artist in Residence from the Alliance theater, 4th grade loved meeting their new “buddies” from Ms. Darlene’s pre-k class, and 5th grade always makes review work fun by making it a game!

Our first graders received their very first agendas and their very first homework assignment- a ME bag! We loved getting to see what is important and special to each child. The year is off to a great start and the best is yet to come!

🎨 Art Camp at Buckhead Prep is about so much more than paintbrushes and paper.
Our campers don’t just create beautiful artwork—they discover the artists who changed the world and the stories behind their masterpieces. By learning about famous artists and their unique styles, students are inspired to see art through a whole new lens.
That love of art continues throughout the school year with our Artist of the Month program, where students explore the lives, techniques, and lasting impact of some of history’s greatest creators.
