Buckhead Preparatory School

We hope you’re doing well and are staying warm. After careful consideration, we have decided to cancel school on Friday, January 10, 2025, due to the forecast of severe winter weather conditions in the Metro Atlanta area.

With many of our teachers and families commuting from the surrounding counties, we are concerned about travel safety during these conditions. Additionally, the risk of power outages during an ice storm could leave our school without heat, posing a safety risk for students and staff.

We understand that this news might disrupt your plans, but your safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe and warm.

Our first-ever Student Council came together to create posters for the Holiday Extravaganza raffle and played an integral role as ushers during the performance. These outstanding students, chosen by their peers, demonstrated exemplary leadership and set a shining example for all Bucks!

Celebrating 18 years of building strong reading skills!

The kindergartners enjoyed a magical treat yesterday during Pajama Day—a delightful journey on the Polar Express! They sipped hot cocoa while listening to the timeless Christmas story, and every believer was gifted a special bell from Santa 🎅

Wrapping up their exploration of the Cherokee Tribe, our 3rd graders showcased their creativity and fine motor skills by weaving beautiful baskets. 🧺✨ A hands-on way to connect with history and culture!

Learning math is a blast at Buckhead Prep! 🎉 First graders dove into geometry by reading Perfect Square and crafting their own masterpieces from a single square. 🟥✨ Meanwhile, 2nd graders kicked off their multiplication unit in the sweetest way—decorating cookies with their math facts! 🍪➗✖️
