âš EXCEL students are helping shape the future of learning tech at Georgia Tech!
CEISMC learning scientist Eunhye Grace Flavin and ECE professor Matthew Flavin brought a prototype wearable haptic device to Georgia Techâs EXCEL Program, giving students a hands-on opportunity to explore how vibration-based technology could support learning, accessibility, and reduce math anxiety.
Students shared powerful feedbackâmany said the device felt calm, soothing, and relaxing, and could help them manage stress in the classroom. Their insights are now helping researchers improve and personalize this technology. Read more: https://excel.gatech.edu/excel-work-with-researchers-haptic-device
