We are saddened to share the news that Professor Emeritus F. Brown Whittington passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 90. Brown served on Goizueta’s faculty for 26 years, from 1969 until his retirement in 1995.

He was a beloved faculty member and his lasting legacy was in building alliances between academia and the corporate community. He created and ran the customer business development track that initiated the school’s strong focus on experiential learning.

He will be deeply missed.
