Mahir is a PhD candidate working with the largest radio interferometer CHARA array. His field of interest is big stars and especially groups of stars known as star clusters. At this talk, he will discuss how to "date" said group of stars 🌟✨

Let's meet our speaker for this month: Prof. Misty Bentz

Prof. Bentz obtained her PhD from The Ohio State University in 2007. After her PhD, she joined UC Irvine as a postdoctoral researcher, and received the NASA Hubble Fellowship in 2009. She Joined in 2010 as a faculty member and has been the recipient of multiple awards, including the GSU Outstanding Faculty Achievement Award. She is a world-renowned expert on supermassive black holes and will be giving a talk on this fascinating topic.
