College planning starts earlier than most families realize — but it does not have to feel overwhelming.

Join us tonight, June 9 at 7:00 PM ET, for The College Planning Playbook for Middle School Parents & Students.

In this workshop, middle school families will learn how academics, activities, executive functioning skills, and early planning can shape future college opportunities while reducing stress later on.

Families will explore:
🎓 what college planning can look like in middle school
📚 how academics and activities work together
🧠 why executive functioning skills matter
✨ how early planning can support confidence instead of pressure

This session is perfect for families who want to understand what they can do now to help their student feel more prepared for the future.

Parents, now is a special time to accept your student’s invitation. ✨

Students who accept their Young Scholars invitation by June 15 will receive a complimentary Young Scholars Recognition Ribbon celebrating their academic achievement and membership in the honor society.

It is more than a ribbon. It is a meaningful symbol of your child’s hard work, dedication, and potential — and a reminder that their accomplishments deserve to be celebrated now.

Middle school is where confidence grows, interests begin to take shape, and students start seeing what they are capable of. We are honored to recognize students during this important stage.

Accept your student’s invitation by June 15 to receive the complimentary Young Scholars Recognition Ribbon.

“Warren dedicated his holiday season, November and December 2024 and 2025, to the DOROT Card-Making Project, creating 200 personalized birthday cards and sending them to socially isolated adults.” — Dr. Sugandika Subawickrama, a proud parent of a Young Scholar.

Warren Sanuhath Pinnawalage is a 7th grader at North Bergen Junior High School. Service is a major part of Warren’s story. He has volunteered through health clinics, community service programs, VFW activities, the DOROT Card-Making Project, and local outreach efforts. He completed a food drive, helped distribute lunch packs for families in need, created 200 personalized birthday cards for socially isolated adults, and assembled 50 care packages for people affected by Cyclone Ditwah.

Warren’s example reminds us that leadership often begins with simply choosing to help others. 💙

If your student has recently achieved something big or small, we’d love to feature them on our social channels.

One of the best parts of Young Scholars membership is that it gives students opportunities to grow beyond the classroom.

Membership supports middle school students through recognition, exclusive scholarships, webinars, leadership resources, free events, and helpful tools families can use as they plan ahead.

For students, that can mean more confidence.
For parents, that can mean more guidance.
For families, that can mean more opportunities to explore what is possible early.

Young Scholars is designed to support students while they are still discovering their strengths, interests, and goals.
