👨👩👧 Math & Science APS-Parent University | September 16
The Middle School Math & Science Parent University is coming up on Wednesday, September 16 from 5:30–6:30 PM virtually! This session is designed to help families better understand the resources their students are using this year, specifically Carnegie Learning for Grades 6–8 Math and Savvas for Grades 6–8 Science, what learning looks like in the classroom, and how families can access digital curriculum resources at home.
King is doing this because our school goals to be met by the end of 2026-2027 school year 6th-8th grade are:
In, Literacy to increase scoring developing or above from 35% to 40% in ELA GMAS. In, Numeracy to increase scoring developing or above from scoring proficient or above from 32% to 37% on Math GMAS. In, Whole Child Intervention, PBIS, School Climate & Student Engagement, the PBIS team will plan and execute exactly two school-wide events per month during the school year, achieving a minimum of 80% student attendance at each event.

⭐️ Get your questions answered!
Families are asked to register in advance and submit any questions they would like addressed during the session. This will help the Math Educators understand what families want to know and to prepare accordingly.
Families who register will receive the virtual session information directly by email. APS will also make sure schools have access to the session link so that families can still join us.
