Decision Day 2024
Can you believe next weekend is Decision Day? You’ve put in so much effort since this process began and next weekend is time to gain some clarity. Regardless of what happens, celebrate how much you’ve grown as family since this process began and take comfort in the fact that somehow, it all ends up the way it’s supposed to.

A lot can change in a year! 🎉 Joyfully announcing the newest member of our team, Henry Adler, born January 3rd, 2024. Life with two boys 14 months apart is full of more wonder and delight than I could ever imagine. It’s also given me an entirely new appreciation of our mission : Empowering students to thrive. 🌍
To that end, we’ll be changing up our platform a little bit. We’ll still be highlight different Atlanta schools, clarifying admissions guidelines, and unpacking curriculum. But we’ll also be sharing more BTS details on ways to introduce reading, SEL content , numeracy, and more AT HOME with your childhood/preschool children.
By empowering parents, we can more effectively equip and encourage our students. After all, if we want to go fast, we go alone….But if we want to go far, we go together. 💙

Gross motor skills use legs, arms, and torso to perform everyday functions, such as walking, running, jumping, and sitting as well as activities that require hand-eye coordination like throwing and catching, kicking, swimming, or riding a bike. The transferability of gross motor skills can be seen in essential self-care skills. To more holistically assess kindergarten-readiness skills, independent schools and teachers are broadly evaluating a child’s gross motor skills. Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Balance
• Bilateral integration
• Body awareness
• Crossing Midline
• Hand-eye coordination
• Eye-foot coordination
• Muscle strength
• Muscle endurance
• Postural control

We’re back! We have loved this new chapter as parents.
Rebekka: William is now 9 months old and it's been such a privilege to have a front row seat into his development.
Lauren: With a high schooler and now two in college, it’s been a whole new chapter as a parent!
We are excited to partner with families again this admissions season as they navigate the Atlanta independent school landscape.
We want to hear from you:
* What questions can we answer for you?
* What wonders do you have?
* Where can we be the most helpful?
