Faculty from all three divisions shared their artistic talents with the Westminster community at the Visual Arts Faculty Show Reception yesterday. Filling Broyles Arts Center with paintings and sculptures, faculty members showcased their works, speaking with students and other faculty about their inspiration and process.

Visit Broyles Arts Center to view their pieces, which will remain on display for the next month.

Last Friday, we hosted the Battle of Buckhead on our home turf and recognized our past tennis champions with our Night of Champions celebration.

During the game against Lovett, we honored our state champion tennis teams from the 2025-26 athletic year and tennis legends from previous years. Thank you to everyone who came out to support! 💚

Congratulations to Westminster sophomore Arman Shpuza, who received Second Place in the Ninth-Grade Division at the Raytheon Technologies Invention Convention U.S. Nationals for his micro-hydropower project, Ampipe!

Prior to advancing to the national level—an opportunity awarded to only 500 students—Arman competed in the State Finals InVenture Prize at Georgia Tech, where he received the Constellation Energy Award and a Patent Application Award. Congratulations, Arman!

During this week, Pulitzer Prize–winning American journalist and poet, Eliza Griswold, joined us to speak with President Jay Rainey about educating in our evolving world of differing perspectives.

We welcomed our newest Upper School students back to campus with the annual Blessing of the Backpacks ceremony today 💚

President Jay Rainey addressed the Class of 2030, welcoming them to the Upper School while Reverend David Charney led the class and their parents in prayer for their journey ahead.

We can't wait to see all of our cats back on campus tomorrow!

We are thrilled to welcome our sixth president, Jay Rainey, his wife, Ruth, and their dog, Nelson, to Westminster. Jay's tenure officially begins on July 1, and the Raineys have moved into their new home on campus. Be sure to say hello if you see them out and about. Nelson is already a big fan of the Kosh Trail! 🐾
