The Tift College of Education prepares more educators than any other private institution in Georgia, and is committed to preparing students to serve as teachers and school leaders in our local, national and global communities. Guided by the conceptual framework of the “Transforming Educator,” the college supports those who aspire to grow professionally throughout their careers, while also seeking

to transform the lives of students. Tift College of Education provides a variety of professional education programs that are approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. Degree and initial certification programs are offered at Mercer’s three campuses in Atlanta, Macon and Savannah, as well as two regional academic centers in Douglas County and Henry County.
