The Clifton School

The Clifton School The Clifton School’s mission is to provide state of the art childcare and education for employees of Emory, CHOA, and the Centers for Disease Control.

The Clifton School is a full-day, year-round program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We also offer summer camp for children ages 5 to 10. OUr school has two site locations near Emory University in Atlanta, GA. One is on Clifton Road and the other on Clairmont Road. Both locations are licensed by the State of Georgia. The Clairmont location is nationally accredited by the National Association

for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); and the Clifton location is Quality Rated by the state. As a not-for-profit corporation, we are managed by a Board of Directors composed of representatives of Emory, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our daily operations are administered by the Executive Director and the Site Directors.

A Fabulous Teacher Wellness Experience! 🌟

Last week, our fabulous Early Intervention Coordinator, Ms. Aleece, hosted a wonderful Zindin experience for our teachers! 💕✨

During their lunch break, teachers gathered in the conference room for an opportunity to relax, unwind, color, paint, enjoy refreshments, and take home daily goodies. 🎨🖌️☕️

It was such an amazing event, and our teachers truly enjoyed the opportunity to pause, recharge, and enjoy some well-deserved self-care. We are so grateful for the time and thought Ms. Aleece put into creating such a special experience for our team!

Today at The Clifton School at Sheridan, we celebrated our amazing Inaugural Families with a little something sweet—Krispy Kreme Donuts & Coffee! 🍩☕️💛
It was a small token of our heartfelt appreciation for the families who took a chance on us, believed in our vision, and helped make our very first seven weeks so incredibly special. We are so grateful to be building this beautiful community together, and we couldn’t have asked for a sweeter beginning! ✨

Today, The Clifton School dedicated our First Friday to honoring our hero, Officer David Rose.

Our school community wore blue, observed a moment of silence, and tied blue ribbons along our school rails in his memory. These small acts were a meaningful way to show our gratitude and respect for his service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe.

Thank you, Officer David Rose, for your courage, your dedication, and for always protecting us. Your legacy will continue to live on in our hearts, and you will never be forgotten.

On July 16, 2026, the Clairmont Jr. Camp students enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Children's Museum. Children had the opportunity to freely explore a variety of interactive exhibits that encouraged creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning.

Students participated in engaging experiences such as water play at the fishing pool, experimenting with the interactive light wall, climbing the multi-level climbing tower, and using their imaginations while farming and shopping in the Publix exhibit. The field trip provided a fun and enriching learning experience that supported children's natural curiosity in a stimulating environment.

🎉 Spirit Week is Off to a Sweet Start! 🍧

To kick off Spirit Week, King Pop came by with delicious popsicles for our teachers, children, and families! It was such a refreshing treat and brought big smiles to everyone’s faces. 😊🍭

We loved seeing our Clifton School community come together to enjoy a little sweetness, laughter, and fun! What a wonderful way to start Spirit Week and create special memories together. 💙✨

Superhero Day at The Clifton School Clairmont was a blast! Dressed in capes, shields and full of powers our super friends were dressed to save the day! Today, our Jr. Camp campers had an amazing time at Foam Palooza in the courtyard! The air was filled with laughter, smiles, and lots of bubbly fun as everyone enjoyed this exciting summer activity.

What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday weekend and celebrate the start of summer! We love creating memorable experiences that keep our campers active, engaged, and having fun. Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a special event!

💜Welcome to TCS @ Sheridan! 💜
This week, our Jr. Campers from TCS @ Clifton and TCS @ Clairmont visited our Sheridan campus for a special field trip! They enjoyed rotating through fun learning centers, creating beautiful artwork, and spending time playing outdoors.
We loved welcoming them to our newest site and can't wait to have this center full of families!

To build a connection and understanding with nature Jr. Camp and preschool students had an in-house fieldtrip with Chattahoochee Reserve. Students had a chance to touch an albino corn snake. They also talked about pollination and being safe around wild animals.
