The Clifton School

Today, we wished Arlene, our Assistant Director, a heartfelt farewell. She will truly be missed, and we wish her nothing but success and happiness in all of her future endeavors. Arlene has been a dedicated and valued asset to the Clifton School, and her hard work, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on both staff and students.

Today, we celebrated Arlene with warm hugs, light refreshments, and heartfelt well wishes as we reflected on the many contributions she has made during her time with us. While we are sad to see her go, we are grateful for the time we shared and the positive difference she made in our school community.

Thank you, Arlene, for all that you have done. You will always be a part of the Clifton family, and we wish you all the best on your new journey! 💙

The Clairmont Clifton School pre-k classrooms had a blast for their field day at Lullwater Preserve. After a little hike, friends played Tug of war, bubbles, Frisbee, parachute games, Velcro ball, and kickball. After all the fun friends cooled off in the shade with juice boxes! Thank you to all of our teachers and parent volunteers for making this day exciting and fun.

Today, Clifton celebrated a special bridging ceremony for our Pre-K students and those who will be leaving the school. We are so proud of all of our children and excited for their next journey!

After the celebration, the children enjoyed pizza, cupcakes, and other tasty snacks. They also had an amazing time playing at the carnival with their friends. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful memories.

We had so much fun celebrating together today! Thank you for being a part of our Clifton family. 💙

Big splashes and important lessons at The Clifton School Clairmont!

We were excited to welcome Goldfish Swim School to speak with our preschoolers about swim safety! Our students learned valuable tips about staying safe in and around the water while having lots of fun along the way. From practicing safe pool behaviors to learning what to do in an emergency, our little learners were engaged and eager to participate.

A huge thank you to Goldfish Swim School for helping us build confidence, awareness, and water safety skills in such an interactive and kid-friendly way! 💙☀️

We are so thankful for our incredible teachers and staff here at TCS-Clairmont! Their hard work, dedication, and love for our students mean everything to our school community. 💙

We kicked off Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week with a sweet Ice Cream Social to celebrate all they do for children and their families each and every day! 🍦✨

Picnic Day 2026 at Clifton School (Clifton Site)

Our students had a wonderful time celebrating Picnic Day! The children enjoyed sitting outside on their blankets, soaking up the fresh air and sunshine. Some listened to music while others had fun playing games with balls. There were lots of smiles and laughter all around!

A big thank you to all the parents who helped make this day run smoothly by sending in blankets. We also want to thank our wonderful chefs for preparing the food. Your support truly made a difference and helped create a relaxing and enjoyable experience for the children.

This morning, during First Friday Coffee, we celebrated Mother’s Day and introduced our new Assistant Director, Ms. Kristina. We enjoyed spending time talking with families while sharing muffins and juice. Parents were also given a small gift as a token of our appreciation.

Our Georgia Pre-K classroom at the Clifton School (Clifton Site) completed their last field trip of the year to the Carlos Museum for Artful Stories. It was such a wonderful experience! The children enjoyed listening to the story, Goodnight Ganesha, which sparked their imagination and curiosity. They got to see the Statue of Ganesha. Some children asked questions about why the elephant's tusks were missing? They also asked about the human hands and feet on the elephant. One of the students described the elephant as "magical".

They explored beautiful images of Ganesha through wonderful illustrations in the book, learning and observing the details in each piece. To make the day even more special, each child created their very own Ganesha-inspired art project to take home!

As a lovely bonus, every child also received a free book to enjoy at home. It was a day filled with creativity, culture, and joy, an unforgettable experience for all!

Kindergarten Readiness Day was a joyful adventure for our GA Pre-K and Birch classes!

Our young learners got a special glimpse into “big kid” life as they explored all the exciting parts of a school day. They visited Ms. Tay’s library, where stories came to life as well as being able to check out a book and return it next week. They also got a chance to express their creativity during art class with Ms. Faiza. To top it all off, they enjoyed a real cafeteria experience alongside The Clifton School Clairmont Admin Team—trays, choices, and all!

Moments like these help build confidence, spark curiosity, and make the transition to kindergarten feel a little more magical. We’re so proud of our future scholars! 📚🎨🍎

🎉 Celebrating Big Milestones & Little Moments at The Clifton School – Clairmont 🎉

Last week, our classrooms were buzzing with joy, creativity, and collaboration as we celebrated NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child®—and what a special year it is! 💫

2026 marks **100 years of NAEYC** and the **55th anniversary of the Week of the Young Child**, honoring the importance of early childhood education and the magic of learning through play. We were proud to join this nationwide celebration right here at Clifton School – Clairmont!

Each day brought something new and exciting:
🎶 **Music Monday** – We created our own instruments, sang, danced, and let rhythm lead the way!
🍎 **Tasty Tuesday** – Little chefs explored flavors and a sweet spring treat!
🤝 **Work Together Wednesday** – Teamwork made the dream work as we gardened together.
🎨 **Artsy Thursday** – Creativity took center stage with colorful masterpieces
👨‍👩‍👧 **Family Friday** – We wrapped up the week celebrating the families who support and inspire our children every day and allowing the students to take home a special garden rock to paint at home with their families.

From giggles to discoveries, this week was a beautiful reminder that young children learn best when they are engaged, supported, and celebrated. 💛
