Program Overview and Objectives
The program participant will:
· Gain understanding of fundamental computing concepts and how computing transformed and continues to transform the world in which we live.
· Increase skills in computing across the STEM fields while gaining fluency in computational thinking.
· Design and implement solutions to problems by writing, running and debugging pro

grams.
· Code fluently in an object oriented paradigm using programming language of LSA or Java Script.
· Apply the use of functions and functional notations associated with computer science.
· Use data to promote social justice and democratic participation in a dynamic setting.
