The Virtual Meetings and Events Association (VMEA), spent "Only A Day" in Orlando to visit with a few key people who lead the meetings and events industry. From the Facebook Live material, this piece on Casandra Matej was completed to show excerpts detailing the background, style, strategy and great sense of humor (in putting up with the antics) of our featured professional Casandra Matej. Note, Casandra speaks openly about her humble beginnings, leadership style, strategy and even has a great sense of humility and humor about her not often seen. As many leaders (not just woman) who look to move up the ranks, can take a page from Casandra's book and "Keep your head down" to realize your goals and dreams.
