One does not simply walk into Dragon Con with FIVE different shows… 😂
And yet, somehow, that’s what I’m preparing for this year!
🎈 Shadow Quest — I’m incredibly grateful to bring the finished Henson Foundation-supported production to Puppet Track.
🌿 Shadow Safari — featuring the return of the Kudzu Monsters!
💡 Liquid Light — late-night psychedelic projections
🎅 Santa’s Crazy Night — a decidedly NOT-for-kids piece for the National Puppet Slam (2 nights)
🎻 And something I’m particularly eager to unleash: a brand-new adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s The Music of Erich Zann, with Paul Mercer, Autumn’s Shadow, Atlas Wolf, and Sci-Fi Josh!
My studio currently looks like the aftermath of Helm’s Deep.
But I’m getting very excited. Big shout out to Beau and the fabulous Puppet Track!

Yesterday, *Shadow Quest* completed its summer journey with a packed house—and a joyful final adventure it was.

There was laughter, wonderfully wild audience participation, and a long line of Questers who stayed afterward to visit and take pictures. Our final audience chose to travel into the past, where we encountered dinosaurs and—thanks to their brave and creative ideas—escaped the great calamity !

This last year has been a season of grief and tremendous challenges for me, and bringing this show into the world has meant more than I can easily express. Creating, performing, and sharing so much laughter and imagination with children and families has given me joy, purpose, and moments of genuine healing.

Thank you to every library, artist, friend, family member, parent, child, and fearless Quester who became part of this adventure. *Shadow Quest* was made by many hands—but it truly came alive because you came ready to play.

Thank you to the Cheryl Henson and the for your kind support!

The show is dedicated to forever in my heart: JD and SD (FIFI!). Also big love to my mom who came to so many of the shows!

Cloudy with a 100% chance of imagination! ☁️✨
Our young Questers brought the sky to life at Shadow Quest in Roswell, playing alongside Clyde the Cloud and becoming part of the adventure.
